In a perfect little suburban town, at the edge of a great city, an abused and scarred little boy makes up another world to live in while his abuser hurts him, while the real world fades out for him, and in this imaginary world he finds that someone -- from someone else's make-believe world -- has come for him.

His name is Mr. Darkness.
