Romero. Avatar published Russo's ESCAPE OF THE LIVING DEAD comics, based on his original screenplay, which made the Top Ten of Horror Comics nationally and spawned ten sequels and two graphic novels. Russo is slated to direct the movie for producer Danny Roth of Stonebrook Entertainment. Russo's partner, Joe Majestic, will serve as Executive Producer.
