From the strange concoctions sold at the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crazyqwik<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to the dog-eaters who think he&#8217;s a meat thief, to the Harvest Man, and just wait until you encounter the pink devil. It&#8217;s all like his mother told him time and again&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #686868; font-size: 19px; font-style: italic;\">The world is a dangerous place.<\/span><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At its heart, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Mouth of the Dark <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is about The Shadowers &#8212; people who can see and interact with the darker aspects of existence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I can always count on Tim Waggoner to find the weird in a story and there&#8217;s plenty of that in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Mouth of the Dark<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Tim has a unique voice in the horror community and is a genuine wordsmith:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their ages ranged from early twenties to a foot-and-a-half in the grave.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The book is filled with truly horrible images, yet I found myself smiling more often than not.
