There are new reviews in these two publications: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/215\/story\/135622.html\" target=\"_blank\">Miami Herald<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/life\/books\/reviews\/2007-06-11-blaze_N.htm\" target=\"_blank\">USA Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>1408<\/em> comes out next week, and there has been a lot of advanced publicity for it. Perhaps they&#8217;re trying to stave off the curse attached to horror movies of late. Here are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iesb.net\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=2688&amp;Itemid=99\" target=\"_blank\">video interviews with John Cusack and director Mikael Hafstrom<\/a>, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shocktillyoudrop.com\/news\/topnews.php?id=478\" target=\"_blank\">Shock Till You Drop interview with <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shocktillyoudrop.com\/news\/topnews.php?id=478\" target=\"_blank\">Hafstrom<\/a>. Of the production, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ew.com\/ew\/article\/0,,20035175,00.html\" target=\"_blank\">John Cusack told EW<\/a>, &#8220;We all got Stockholm syndrome.&#8221; Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/dvdnews\/Advance-Hint-At-1408-DVD-Contents-4676.html\">an article that speculates about the extra features on the DVD<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Esquire<\/em> issue with &#8220;The Gingerbread Girl&#8221; is out in most places now, and has been drawing a lot of media attention, thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/ap\/20070611\/ap_en_ot\/books_stephen_king;_ylt=AqQSblW2dHz_YywaCsYqdUZX24cA\">an AP wire article<\/a> that has been picked up everywhere. If you&#8217;re not sure where the story&#8217;s title comes from, refamiliarize yourself with the classic story <a href=\"http:\/\/www.topmarks.co.uk\/stories\/gingerbread.htm\">The Gingerbread Man<\/a>. &#8220;The gingerbread man did not look back.
